Track Changes with Snapshot Comparison
Create a baseline on the first scan, then detect changes with periodic scans — simple and effective.
Initial Scan
Scans all files in monitored directories and records filenames, sizes, and timestamps. This becomes your baseline.
Periodic Scan
Automatically scans at your configured interval (5 min to 1 day) and compares with the previous snapshot.
Detect Changes
Detects added, modified, and deleted files, displayed in a list. Email notifications are also available.
All the Information You Need to Track Changes
View detailed information including file paths, sizes, and timestamps in a comprehensive list to track all changes.
File Change Monitor - All Scan History
Scan History List
View periodic scan results in chronological order. See at a glance how many files were added, modified, or deleted in each scan, and navigate to details with the "View Details" button. A filter to hide scans with no changes is also available.
File Change Details
Changed File Details
View details of changes detected in each scan. Shows file path, type (plugins/themes/root), size changes, and before/after timestamps. HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW severity ratings help you identify which files need priority attention.
Monitor Scope
Monitor Scope Selection
View the WordPress directory structure in a tree format and select monitoring targets with checkboxes. Set individual directories like wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes. Excluding unnecessary directories reduces scan time and notification noise.
- .htaccess HIGH
- wp-content/plugins/sentinelsecurity/sentinelsecurity.php
- wp-content/themes/sentinel-suite/functions.php
Email Notifications
Automatically notifies administrators by email when file changes are detected. Shows a summary of changes (Modified/Added/Deleted counts) and some changed files, with a link to access the details screen directly. High-severity changes are highlighted so critical issues are never missed.
